   Diane Matsumoto, M.D., F.A.A.P.

Dr. Diane MatsumotoDr. Diane Matsumoto is the founder and president of TLC Pediatrics. She trained at Washington University Medical School, consistently rated as one of the top ten medical schools in the country, and she received the Elizabeth Demonchaux award in pediatrics. Her first practice in St. Louis was associated with St. Louis Children’s Hospital and specialized in children with complex medical needs. She moved with her family to Phoenix in 1996 and was senior partner in a large medical practice. She and her husband Dr. Bert Matsumoto (ophthalmologist) have 5 children. In 2004, Dr. Matsumoto founded TLC Pediatrics to fulfill her dream of practicing pediatrics in a small, intimate setting where patient care comes first. Dr. Matsumoto was recognized by Phoenix Magazine as a “Top Doc.” It is her privilege to bring TLC Pediatrics to you.

 

 

 

   Noelle Miller, M.D., F.A.A.P.

Dr. Noelle MillerDr. Noelle Miller has a passion for community service. She trained at UCLA in microbiology and molecular genetics and she graduated cum laude with college honors. She attended medical school at St. Louis University School of Medicine. She continued with residency at Phoenix Children’s Hospital and Maricopa Medical Center and received the “Outstanding Senior Resident” and Dean’s list Award for excellence in Teaching. She has been an advocate for Phoenix’s special needs and complex cases in children. Dr. Miller has been instrumental in providing care to Home Base Youth Services and the Phoenix Children’s Hospital Mobile Medical Unit. She also has participated in mission service to Mexico. Dr. Miller has a strong interest for care of adolescents and will further TLC’s commitment to provide care for all children from birth to twenty-one.

 

 

 

   Khristina Ramirez, M.D., F.A.A.P. 

Dr. Khristina RamirezDr. Khristina Ramirez received her medical training at the University of Michigan, a top ten medical school. She began her residency training in pediatrics at the University of Illinois. After she married, she moved back to Michigan to finish her last two years of residency at Children’s Hospital of Michigan. She and her husband fell in love with Arizona while on vacation and decided to move here to start her professional career. Since then, Dr. Ramirez has been a private Pediatrician in the valley for the last 5 years. She speaks both English and Spanish. Her medical interests include special needs children and autism spectrum disorders. Currently, she lives in Ahwatukee with her husband and her son. She enjoys cycling classes, hiking, reading, going to the movies, listening to music and playing with her son.

 

 

 

 

   Monica Nania, M.D., F.A.A.P.

Monica Nania, M.D.Dr. Monica Nania is a board certified Pediatrician and a Fellow with the American Academy of Pediatrics. She received her medical degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine where she was the recipient of the J. Eugene Lewis award and was acknowledged for her excellence in physical diagnosis. Dr. Nania then completed her pediatric residency at Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. She spent three years working for Denver Children’s Hospital. After working for three years at Denver Children’s Hospital, Dr. Nania moved with her family to Nashville, Tennessee. There she worked in a private practice setting for five years with admitting privileges at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital. Dr. Nania’s special areas of interest include newborn care, breast-feeding, and child behavior. She enjoys swimming, hiking, and biking. She has four children and a husband who is a pediatric infectious disease specialist. Dr. Nania’s personality and medical interests are a great compliment to the TLC Team.
